John has just returned home having accompanied a family safari in Kenya over Christmas. His days are now busy watching cricket, mowing the lawn and sorting out his 2009 photographs (in about that order!).

The African safari season begins in June with the first safari of the year starting in Zimbabwe and ending in Namibia. Other safaris this year are planned for Zambia, Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya.
Helping daughter Sarah in her second year as a Mana Pools National Park camp operator
A trip to the US in November (this is now definite) including Thanksgiving spent with the Davis family in North Carolina so the boys can show John their bush !
