“This vast, wonderful, intriguing, thrilling continent called Africa is also the place we call home. We have spent more than 30 years sharing what we love about it with adventurous travellers from all over the world.” John Stevens
Preparing for your safari is almost more fun than the actual safari! Because we live and work in Africa, we can give you first-hand information, sharing our insider knowledge and paying attention to the smallest details, not to mention “on the ground” support during your safari.
There are remarkable differences between the more commercial “off-the-shelf” safaris and those we enjoy putting together for our clients, which are custom-crafted, one-of-a-kind. As people search for more genuine and exceptional experiences in the “real” Africa, we are encouraged to be more selective with the lodges, camps and guides with whom we operate, not to mention the wildlife experiences and cultural interactions we prefer to recommend for a truly authentic experience.
Our personal relationships and contacts in the field give us an unparalleled, in-depth knowledge of the continent’s most fascinating destinations, ensuring that your expectations are met throughout.
95% of our business is made up of clients who are returning to travel with us or is referral business, which says a lot for the level of customer satisfaction we generate!
In early 2015, John and Nicci Stevens set up a collaborative conservation initiative to help support elephant anti-poaching efforts in the Zambezi Valley. The Zambezi Elephant Fund (ZEF) and its partners are making good progress and have achieved a lot in the last two years. Read more about ZEF and its work here or find out more about how you can make a meaningful contribution to this cause and the positive impacts it continues to have, on not just elephants, but other wildlife, the environment and communities, too.
